Introduction
The Islamic Relief Association for the Orphans and Poor (IRAOP)
was established in 1996 by distinguished members from the Islamic movement in Palestine
(1984 Arabs) after Israel closed down the Islamic Relief Committee. Thus the (IRAOP)
today is a vital institution operating in the field of the Orphans sponsorship programs
and social work in Palestine .The scope of the IRAOP involvement in social work has
enormously increased and it has been seen by many as an opportunity to carry relief
and charitable activities as requested by Islam. In compliance with the prophet's
instructions and through the generous support of our donors we believe that we can
make a difference in the lives of many . Furthermore , we strongly believe that our
work can positively promote and encourage the values of solidarity, cooperation, compassion
and the spirit of patience and determination. Despite that the IRAOP is relatively
new, it has become, in the public eye hope to alleviate the suffering of many orphans,
detainees and widows and a way to restore their deprived dignity and to keep them
away from the humiliation of begging. As children are the assets of the future, and
in light of the unceasing crisis, the IROP has committed itself to serve children
in order to ensure a better and a brighter future for them. We hereby offer you the
